Perspective

A friend of mine recently sent me a photo. It was especially artsy, fartsy -those kinds of photos seem to be his speciality. Don't get me wrong, his photos are always thoughtful and attractive. He is truly skilled no matter where he's looking. However, with this recent photo, all I could think about was the naked girl behind the camera. It was pretty obvious by the context of the photo that there was someone else in the room and I felt for that naked girl. Would she think that her photo, taken in lust or admiration, hope or with a smile on her face, would reach me or anyone else for that matter? I wondered how her day went. How she felt at that moment of taking it. What she thought was next and where she is now. What does she look like? Does she have freckles?

I should have been focusing on the actual photo yet I found no interest in it at all. Funny how perspective can be viewed from so many angles. How it changes everything. Just by focusing outside of the picture in front of you but rather focusing on what's happening around you.

Yes, this blog is about you. You know who you are.

PS, I wouldn't recommend sending pictures of yourself that naked girls take of you. Life is life and it didn't bother me much, but it's kind of weird. ;)

Here's another angle..

What if it was sent to you because while with her, he thought of you?

Mind.... Blown

Anonymous,

Haha I can't for sure say that my mind is blown by your angle suggested. I'm not quite sure if I should be flattered that he thought of me or not. But thanks for the comment!
