Digging Your Vibes

Long distance relationships was a subject suggested to write about. What do I know about them? Hmm well I know I don't like to be away from people I want. I can't even take being 20 minutes away most nights. I think I'm more hung up on the word "relationship". That's what was suggested I talk about? A topic as such isn't the best for an over thinker like myself.

Could I do a long distance relationship? Sure. People always tell me the "don't go looking for love, it will find you when you least expect it," and if that just so happens to be at a distance then ok. Obviously there will have to be a lot of communication, strength and traveling but nothing lasts forever and if need be, Id like to hope we'd figure out the distance?

Why am I even writing about this? I have no idea how it works or if I'd feel up to it if given the opportunity. Women change their minds like we change our underwear. Would I do a long distance relationship? With the right person I would. But there can't be any fears. He'd have to truly trust his decisions and trust me. You'd have to take blind steps and know that I'm where you want to be. You'd have to try and really use your words as that's all that we would really have. And he'd have to make time. Something that seems to be an issue for most people.

I just want to watch some good TV and eat a bowl of butter pecan.

What if he was out of the country?

Anonymous,

I don't think it would bother me much in terms of relationship wise if he was out of the country. It would be essentially the same situation in my opinion. I would imagine that both he and I would have to get used to travelling until someone is ready financially, emotionally and career-wise to relocate. But that's all contingent of the seriousness of the relationship.
